When I saw
"Miss Marple" in Rowan magazine no.38, well, I had to knit her. I would love to live in Miss Marple's world, with it's fine bone china and glamour, and cardigans, intrigues, old-fashionedness.

And I would love to have her razor-sharp mind, and a generous nephew who keeps insisting on sending me for nice holidays, in smart hotels, where I can knit, and watch glamorous mysteries unfold, and where the murders aren't too gruesome of course.
And then there's the people-watching of a world-class standard.
And it's all so English, it's delicious.
The only thing missing from Miss Marple's world is my husband Hugo, who I am rather partial to...........and could not leave out of the plot.
THANK YOU FOR THE E MAIL RE "THE BUNNIES" COZY PATTERN,I HAVE JUST PRINTED IT OFF OF THE LINK...AND MY 1st BUNNIE WILL BE JACOB SHEEP TUMMY COLOUR!!! AND PORTLAND SHEEP FACE AND EARS,AND A MIXED TAIL COLOUR .VERY ENGLISH BUNNY COLOURS...Ahhh

Miss Marple looks lovely..I love Joan Hickson's Miss Marple. I've watched them all so many times (have the BBC boxed set!) I can now sit back and notice the little things, the Toby jug on the windowsill, the tablecloth.

Love the Miss Marple! And I love Miss M. herself, except for that strange penchant she has for apples...

Your Miss Marple is gorgeous, did you use the recommended yarn and did you have any particular difficulties? I loved this pattern when it first came out and then promptly forgot about it until I came across yours, I suddenly can think of nothing else I want to knit.

I am a huge fan of Miss Marple, I love to read them and of course watch Joan Hickson playing the part perfectly. You look great in your jumper. The descriptions of clothes in the books are lovely and I think the colours used here are especially St Mary Mead!
