I think it's extraordinary that I've still got roses flowering in the garden. While all around them things shut down and ready themselves for winter.
The roses are strutting their stuff and shouting out colour, they are, I think, showing off........... then again, they are obviously in their element, they love the cold air, the soft golden sunshine, and the lack of rain to ruin their petals. So I should enjoy their contrariness, their lack of conformity, and applaud their showmanship.
Meanwhile, in the warmth of the house, I have almost finished my present knitting project, and am contemplating what I should do next................

Beautiful photos as always, how I love your colours, especially the last photo, the colours are so delicate but vibrant at the same time, it reminds me of the pages of country living magazine..
