Oh that is a lovely "FIND"...
Your creative mind will be in
overdrive ...
It could alter all your thoughts
about the lay~out of the kitchen...
Ho Hum...The journey has begun...{:>)

what an amazing discovery!
I'd have been worried there'd be bones
hidden behind there....

Alice Saltiel-Marshall

Very happy to see the first of the reno photos! I, for one, am very interested it what you will find and what you will do with your basement. Basement? there seems to be rather a lot of natural light down there, must be a raised basement as opposed to a dungeon! Where will you cook/eat throughout the disruption? Wishing you only good luck on the journey!
Cheers, Alice

oh my, hoe very exciting!
I can't wait to see how things progress and I know i don't need to remind you to take lots of photographs :o)
have a peaceful weekend

Oh wow, how fabulous! I don't think there's anything as exciting hidden in our house ...

Oooh I actually went 'WOW' out loud then. I hope you continue to share these kind of finds with us.

Lucky you! Thats the fun with old houses, discovering its past ;-)

What a gorgeous old fireplace. I'm looking forward to seeing pictures of it all tidied up.
