The joiner still has to put in the 'cheeks'.
What-on-earth are the 'cheeks', you might wonder........?
They are the 'side bits', but I think I prefer the joiner's terminology of cheeks.
There's something quite charming about the window having cheeks......... don't you think.......?

How wonderful that you are keeping a photo diary of your remodel. We redid our kitchen 4 years ago and I have a few shots, but mostly I left the house to avoid the chaos. Hang in there! It will be worth it.

The door looks really good. (But then I loved the window seat and thought that looked good too!)
I can't wait to see the finished picture. (But possibly not as much as you!)
