Last Saturday afternoon, the sun came out of hiding................. and blazed!
One thing we have learnt from living in the North of England, is to never take a sunny day for granted.
So that evening, we hot-footed it down to the beach, and Hugo lit the barbeque....................
While I cracked open a chilled bottle of Ginger Beer.................
............Despite the look on Hugo's face.............. the burgers in pitta bread were delicious...................
................And we had the beach to ourselves.................
.................Yes, we live in a part of the world where, on a balmy, sunny evening, we can have the beach to ourselves...................
It doesn't get much better than that, does it.....................

Oh yes, how lovely for you to grab the moment, it looks beautiful. Tell me, where is that beach exactly, I LOVE that little lighthouse! and I know what you mean about your part of the country being sooooo quiet, we always find this when we visit even in AUGUST (can't wait for this years hols). Its such a blissful county, love love it.
Your green bbq looks lovely too, I have my eye on just such a bucket bbq from morrisons :: when it stops raining I might go and buy one in the hope of some sunshine. I can hope eh....

looks idyllic, being near the beach is one of my dreams, which J keeps reminding me of everytime I dig my heels in about selling the house........
