Animal or vegetable..........?
I neglected to show you these wonderful creations after we had been to the Alnwick Spring Show..............................
We've been dipping in to the 'Country Fair' season when we can................. And these photographs are very typical of some of the things on display in the 'Industrial Tent' at the fairs we go to.
The industrial tent is always my favourite attraction.................. from the hand knitting, to  the prize flowers, vegetables and cakes, they represent the local community in the most charming fashion...................
And of course, the children's inventive entries are always fascinating....................

with the "sweet potato" mouse...
I hope it is a mouse !!! it may be a hamster !!!

love the mouse! the village where my parents live has a vegetable art for children entry every year, one year E made a potato hedgehog, and last year we had a carrot rocket!
