We may not have finished the last bits of the build.............. And we may have my Mum and Dad staying with us............
But as a result of some persuasion, I have been cajoled into approaching a gallery with my 'little paintings'........

............The gallery is testing the waters by taking six to start with!

I have the initial outlay of getting them framed.......... which I'll do soon.......... and then it's off with them to the gallery..........

The paintings I'm showing you in this post are those the gallery has chosen to sell.......

..........So, a new little venture..........
...............Unchartered territory...................

..........Nothing ventured............ nothing gained................
oh wonderful! congratulations! they are so pretty; i wish you the best in your new venture.

Oh Vanessa, congrats!!! I so hope you do well with them :: see, what did I tell you all those months ago, I told you you should sell them. I still want to buy one...I love all those ones you've shown today, very very much. I would be hard pressed to choose a favourite, maybe the teacup with the primroses or the last one with the spotty mug.
Hope I might be able to buy one from you one day, I truly love them.
xxxx
ps see you next week sometime?????? :o)x

Vanessa, they are enchanting. I would love to buy one - I might have to fight Lucy for the primulas in the spotty mug.

Hellebores for me ....I love flowers in
"Jam Jars" and I always think how clever to paint "Glass".
I can't think that they would not sell ,they are very sweet & the flowers look fresh ,perfect 10/10 gold star ...{:>)))

Thanks to whoever cajoled you! You know I think your little floral watercolours are competent and sweet darlings. I'm happy to hear that they are 'going out in the world' and look forward to learning that the public laps them up!
Cheers, Alice

how nice! I like the one in the patterned tea cup. I remember you buying teacups when you were at our cottage - I feel there could be a lot of mileage in painting teacups!
well done and good luck for your new venture!

They are really beautiful. Some of the composistions remind me of Richard Spares work.

They are lovely paintings - they would make great cards, too. And I think the etsy idea is a really good one.
Nice to have found your blog!
