there's just something special about the wrinkly tablecloths, perfect for the tea tent at the local show!
hope you haven't had too much rain up there, saw the floods in Northumbria and thought of you, but I'm guessing you are a bit further north. x

Everything looks so yummy too! I could just sit there all day sipping tea and nibbling little cakes! Lovely :0)

We travelled down to Woodborough in Notts on Saturday and went to their village show - makes Etal look quite cosmopolitan. Don't they have just unbeleivable charm? I love the way everyone gives their all at these events; makes for a great atmosphere.

Hope you missed out on the flooding; pleased to say we did.

It all looks so lovely.I recently went along to the same thing in the little village of Matfield in Kent. It was wonderful and the ladies from the W.I provided the marvellous afternoon tea.

Joanna

Jam jars filled with flowers. Perfect. Almost makes up for the lack of summer!
