I've finally done it! I've opened an etsy shop, to sell my paintings................... I can't quite believe I got my act together.....................
It's taken a lot of planning.............. from creating the shop, with much umming and aaahhing ...................
........ Umming and aahhing, over which of the above images to use as the banner for my etsy shop............. to mastering how to list each item...................
.................. In the end, I chose the simplest of the four images I painted, to use as my etsy shop banner .......
I also had to decide how to price my paintings............. difficult one that......... In the end, taking into consideration the current financial climate, I decided to price them very low, and hopefully affordable for most people...... ................. So if you're searching for a Christmas present, an unusual gift of an original painting.................. you might be interested in looking at my etsy shop, here, where my paintings are priced from $20 to $50...................... bargain!

7 p.m update:

That's three private sales, and three through etsy!.............. I'm so excited, so, so excited! Big grin on my face!
Ooh Vanessa, they're perfect.

((((CONGRATULATIONS))))
You finally did it Vanessa, and I am so so so pleased for you!! Two sales on your first day, doesn't that juts make you want to go marching to that stuffy gallery and go nah-nah-na-nah-nah??? LOL!!
They look beautiful all together, I love the pink-on-pink one, might have to consider that as a partner for my lovely little prilualas.
Your prices are very reasonable, and I feel just right/ Perfect in fact.
Could I also suggest that you open a Flickr account? For one thing your paintings would look beautiful there. But for another thing you can add them to group pools and link to your etsy shop, it's a good way to increase awareness,. oooo aren't I just the proper little business advisor, I don't mean to be bossy, but am SO EXCITED for you!
Good luck, well done, open a bottle of champagne.
:o)x

Much wailing and gnashing of teeth here at The Chez. I am sure that the pictures that were sold were the lovely berry ones. I will just have to hang around in case there is a late delivery!
