Drum roll.......... And the winner is...............

First, before we get down to the exciting business of doing the prize draw.......... I'd just like to thank you for joining in my prize draw, by leaving a comment on last Friday's post............ It is my first giveaway, and I felt nervous about the whole thing............. Some people get hundreds of comments when they do a giveaway, which must be fabulous for them............. I didn't get anything approaching that figure, but I did get a respectable amount of comments, which was wonderful, because I could have got no comments at all, couldn't I ? So thank you soooooo much for leaving me a comment, it meant more than you know to me..................... ........... So here we have the special hat in which I deposited all the folded up pieces of paper with your names on............... It is on loan from my Mother-in-Law, (thank you!). I've been in possession of this old school hat for a while, knowing I wanted to photograph it, but not sure for what ................ until I was pondering how to celebrate a year of blogging, and eventually got round to doing a prize draw............... The hat, now the 'special' hat, finally had the perfect use............... ....... I love this hat........ With it's beautiful burnt Orange ribbon, and splendid bow......... I can imagine whoever wore this to school looked very smart .............. ......... So........... here we go....................... one upturned 'special hat' .................... .... Next............ Hugo picking out a piece of folded paper............ (I was holding my breath at this point, with the excitement of it all).............. ............ Hugo unfolded the paper............ who is it? Who is it?!.......... Let me seeeeeeee.................. ....... Tracy, at Woolly Warbler, you've won the painting................. congratulations! So I'll be sending this little painting of the candle, off to Tracy........... Hopefully she receives it just in time for Christmas...................................................................................... I'm sorry to those of you who didn't win, it'll be disappointing for you.............. But the good news is, there will be more giveaways in the future! I don't know what, and I don't know when, but there will be............... Watch this space!
