Lucky you - a new studio, and what a fabulous colour!
Aren't you kind about the mice? I'm afraid I was damaged at a young age by reading 'The Tale of the Roly Poly Pudding' by Beatrix Potter. I still find this terrifying today - and as a result I'm something of a psychopath when it comes to rodents. When we had mice a few years age I called Rentokill without pausing for breath.

Pictures of the studio please!!!!

Congratulations on the new studio! I hope to have a studio whenever we finally buy a house :)

That pink color is lovely! And, oh, I needed to see those jonquils today. So springy!

Hi Vanessa, I am so looking forward to seeing your new studio. I love the pictures of your old one its just how I would like mine if we had any spare space. You are welcome to the rat though! Have just ordered the Pretty Knits book from Amazon as I loved your corsage and the book looks really interesting.Karenx

Oh this is exciting - this is every exciting - everyone seems to be showing their workspaces - it must be the spring cleaning vibe! I'm loving it and this one promises to be a real thrill - now, stop blogging and get on with the work! Want to see! Now! t.xx

I think our spare room is a similar colour...cant wait to see the finished space....I love having a nosey...you have made me go all funny though...I have a terrible phobia of rats and have panic attacks if I have a whiff of them full blown brown paper bag moments...great when you live where I do.....near a lovely park and in a semi rural area.....are we going to have pictures of Hugo in his overalls!!!

Can't wait to see your new creative space. The only problem with outside studios is having to share them with the resident wildlife, some of which are not as nice as others! I once kept a few bags of fabrics outside until I found a family of mice had taken up residence in the middle of the bag, the cheek!!

You sound so happy - I am glad for you!

Martha

Ah, I LOVE the pink!!!
But the rat??!! Yikes! He or she must GO!!!

It's so nice to have you blogging again. I really missed it. The color is delicious and I hope you make some paintings with it in the background! I admire anybody who can choose a color that is right the first time. I usually end up repainting once or twice before it feels just right. I absolutely cannot wait to see your new creative space.

Congratulations on the new studio! How fantastic!!! I love the color! We're searching for houses, and I long to have a studio that I can really decorate however I want!
