hello Vanessa. I have just caught your last blog - OH MY GOD!!!! I could look at that stash forever! Just beautiful as are these pics of Whitby. You have such a good eye for things. Have a good day xx

love the chip story! I think your theory about the seagulls is probably right!

Helen LAmbert

...that would be Yorkshire portions my friend...did you go to the famous Magpie? I love the seagulls at Whitby but I know what you mean about their penetrating eyes...must get back to year 11 H

Whitby is a lovely place - know what you mean about the seagulls , I just wish they didn't wake me up at dot o'clock when they nest on the chimney of the house opposite mine !!

I love gulls, I really do. I love their character and colour and I especially love to watch them flying. We used to have a car with a sunshine roof and we would put our chips on top so we could see the gulls dive in! It was a bit scary sometimes! There is always a little part of me thinking of Daphne du Maurier! t.x

Oh yes i love seagulls too, their cry is one of my favourite sounds and I can't wait to be near the sea again to hear it. They are especially cheeky at Whitby I remember, but not all that easy to photograph...your pics are stunning and capture them beautifully.
Looking forward to tomorrow, where next, did you make it to RHB, did you did you???!!!
Love lucex
ps Suuuper to get your comment on my blog today Vanessa after such a long absence, I missed ya!

Just read and caught up with your break. It all looks so perfect and really cosy. I love Whitby, haven't got that far North for years now though.
