Looks like you've had a lovely time! Great pics, too. Belated happy birthday to you!

Welcome back and happy belated birthday! Your day out looks lovely and sunny and spring has arrived in your photographs, they are fab. I too want to get some gardening done this week-maybe Friday.

Yay! I am so glad you are back(though I was off on a sickie myself for a week). I have missed you. The daffodil/narcissi photo's are glorious as are the boaty ones and the cream tea...they are all so scrumptious.
Can't wait to see what you have been baking.
Oh and Happy Birthday for last week, may you have many happy returns xx

Its lovely to have you back Vanessa. Glad you had a wonderful day out for your birthday with such lovely weather. I love going out to tea too especially with a proper pot and little silver strainer and lots of home-baking. Karenx

Happy Birthday. Sounds like a lovely and busy time. Looking forward to hearing more about the baking and the birthday goodies x

Wow! What lovely pictures. I just happened upon your blog because, well, I love the name! How many times has that phrase come out of my mouth!? Looks like you had a wonderful week. I will be back soon. Liz

What a delightful account of your Easter/birthday week! I've been away, Bill and I went to Palm Springs for the month of March. It was wonderful to escape our winter here. They say the entire month was a lion. I'll send you links to photo essays of our time away.
Meanwhile I am wondering about your old studio ... do the renovations in it mean you have a new studio? Perhaps I haven't gone far enough back in your blog and the answers are there?
Cheers, Alice

happy birthday to you. i always enjoy all your photos. daffodils and boats. nice!

Sounds just like my sort of birthday. Howick Hall is just up the road from me, I will have to take a trip there soon and sample the tea and cakes. Happy belated birthday wishes.

What a gorgeous tea time ! and a lovely place ! You must have had a really nice day ! Craster is not that far from Sheffield, where I used to live in the eighties... but I never had the opportunity to go there.
