Aaaahhh! I really need to plonk myself down on a comfy chair............ there! Now, I really need that cup of tea. I definately need that cup cake. And some of that crocheting would be good for me too!
Sorry! Hello there my lovely readers, so glad to see you! I'm just going to talk to you while I drink this nice cuppa.
Tell me. Do you ever get sore feet, even though you've been sitting down all day? I do, when I'm feeling a bit tired. (Another sip/slurp/glug of my tea. A bite of my cup cake).
Aaaahhhh, I can feel that cup cake working its magic, and the tea, well, I think I might need to boil the kettle again, I've just finished that mug of tea.
Tell me another thing. Have you ever crocheted something, using yarn that matches the cup cakes you made?! I've done just that, as you can see in the above photo. But tonight is my knitting group night, so I won't have time to show you just how much of my recent crochet bits, match the cup cakes I made last Saturday. Sorry about that, I'll show you tomorrow. I am in a bit of a rush this evening, but I had to stop by and make my offering of a blog post, to the gods of the blogosphere.............. It's a short post today, I know. So I'll see you tomorrow, my matching crochet and cup cakes in hand!
Love Vanessa xxx
Short - and almost as sweet as that little fairy cake x

Looking at the photo above makes me want to cozy up in a big comfy chair w/ my most comfortable pj's, take a sip of that tea and a bite of that cupcake. The crochet flower is darling!

Is that cupcake inspired crochet or crochet as an excuse to bake cakes? Either way it's just wonderful! Milk no sugar for me tomorrow please! t.x

What a pretty, cheerful post. If I drank tea I'd sneak a gulp.

Now please tell me, do your cupcakes come out with perfect flat tops, ready to ice or do you have to resort to slicing them off, cos I'd love to know the secret of flat topped cupcakes! Hope you had a good time at your knitting club.

Hope you are enjoying a lovely sunny morning up in the north. Grey, cold and wet down here but at least I don't have to water all our pots, greenhouse, new trees etc. Might, just might get some crocheting done today. That cupcake is much too pretty to eat! Karenx

craft, cake and tea, who could want anything more. Hope you had fun at knitting club. And yes, after completing my first knitted blanket, aka the first thing I made as an adult, I did bake cupcakes and ice them in the colours I'd used in the blanket. Just because I could! xx

It's funny how we go through colour phases and are drawn to particular colour combinations isn't it? I hope you have fun at the knitting group.

Yes, I think I'd better go and put the kettle on too. I'm catching up on your posts backwards, I should have read the earlier ones first really. The reason I need to put the kettle on again is because half my last cup ended up all over the table where I splutterd it after laughing so much reading the post above this one.

I do not think I am any better or any worse than most people, but I know that the world would consider me a monster of depravity, if I set down every action in my life and every thought that has crossed my mind.
