The Antidote

Short - and almost as sweet as that little fairy cake x

Denise

Loving the colours Vanessa, and the cupcake looks pretty scrummy too. Hope you enjoyed it. Denise xx

Looking at the photo above makes me want to cozy up in a big comfy chair w/ my most comfortable pj's, take a sip of that tea and a bite of that cupcake. The crochet flower is darling!

Is that cupcake inspired crochet or crochet as an excuse to bake cakes? Either way it's just wonderful! Milk no sugar for me tomorrow please! t.x

A Thrifty Mrs

What a pretty, cheerful post. If I drank tea I'd sneak a gulp.

LittleGem

Love that photo, so well co-ordinated!! Gorgeous cupcake and lovely flower, is it going to be a brooch? Or something more unusual?? XX

Hen

Now please tell me, do your cupcakes come out with perfect flat tops, ready to ice or do you have to resort to slicing them off, cos I'd love to know the secret of flat topped cupcakes! Hope you had a good time at your knitting club.

Pipany

Oh I agree with Hen! Can't do flat topped either. Hope you enjoyed your knitting club Vanessa x

Karen

Hope you are enjoying a lovely sunny morning up in the north. Grey, cold and wet down here but at least I don't have to water all our pots, greenhouse, new trees etc. Might, just might get some crocheting done today. That cupcake is much too pretty to eat! Karenx

Julie

craft, cake and tea, who could want anything more. Hope you had fun at knitting club. And yes, after completing my first knitted blanket, aka the first thing I made as an adult, I did bake cupcakes and ice them in the colours I'd used in the blanket. Just because I could! xx

Laura

The matching cupcake and crochet make a lovely picture! Hope the knit night was fun!

felicity

I love the cup cakes and crochet am quite tempted to join you with cup cakes and crochet and tea - perfect!!!
Felicity xx

P.S my cakes never come out quite that perfect mine are normally a bit wonky home madey, I find myself using pale pink icing all the time to cover up the cracks/lumpy bits!!! yours look fab!

simone

It's funny how we go through colour phases and are drawn to particular colour combinations isn't it? I hope you have fun at the knitting group.

Anne

Beautiful post - now you need to make a crocheted cupcake!! Love your crocheted flower - so pretty.

Sumea

Yes, I think I'd better go and put the kettle on too. I'm catching up on your posts backwards, I should have read the earlier ones first really. The reason I need to put the kettle on again is because half my last cup ended up all over the table where I splutterd it after laughing so much reading the post above this one.

I do not think I am any better or any worse than most people, but I know that the world would consider me a monster of depravity, if I set down every action in my life and every thought that has crossed my mind.

Your timing is perfect. I've been seriously considering a solid blog re-vamp and this is just what I need! Thanks for sharing:)
