The exhibition finished on Sunday, and today I went to pick up the paintings, and any of my books left over. I bought the copies of some of the books I've illustrated from the wholesaler specially for the exhibition, 'sale or return', so any I haven't sold, I can send back.
Then I had a thought, before I send them back, I could offer them to you, if you're interested. The prices are mostly competitive with amazon, and if you bought one, (or more!), I could personalise a message to the person receiving the book (books!), and sign it.
My profit on each book is £1, so I'm not doing this for the money, and regarding postage and packing costs, I'd have to find out how much that would be.
Payment could be through paypal or cheque (made out in £'s please, thank you).
I'm going to keep this offer open for two weeks from today, the 29th June, and then any remaining books will be returned to Mr. Wholesaler. (It would be THRILLING if I didn't have to send any back to him!).
If you would like to buy a bargain book, signed by me, please email me here: [email protected]
Or you can leave a comment on my blog asking me to get back to you if you like.

I did order a HUGE amount of books, as I wasn't sure how many to get in, having not had an exhibition like this before, and these are the remains. Some books sold out, which was fantastic, and most of them seemed to sell well.
Could this be a gift with a difference for someone you know? A signed copy of a book, for someone's Birthday or Christmas present, and if you tell me who to address your copy to, I can do that, and add a little message.
I'll see you tomorrow then, my Fair Isle dress is progressing, photos tomorrow. Love Vanessa xxx
Fantastic - I will send you an email with a list later today. The boys will be soooo excited! Love Kate xxooxxooxx.

How fantastic. You already know how much my daughter Violet loves her 'hole book' (or it's proper title, Bringing down the moon).
I would love to get a copy of 'Diamond in the snow' dedicated to her please, and signed of course.
We'll treasuer it forever.
Thank you so very much for this kind offer.
Would you mind emailing me with the full price, where I send the cheque to etc. [email protected]
This has made me so happy :0)

My daughter has the Diary of a Tooth Fairy and absolutely loves it! You are such a talented artist and the other books sound wonderful too, 1 or 2 that my daughter has also read.

Oh Vanessa I would love one of your mole books, preferably the Diamond in the snow, because I haven't read that one but any of the mole ones will do, they are so cute and we love moles as we don't get them in this country. Check on the postage and I can pay you via paypal when you have worked out an invoice. How lovely to have a signed copy :-)

Goodness they look rather wonderful - lots of your work all together, you should be so proud! My fave I have to say is the Mermaid one, as I have long loved the sad tale of "The Little Mermaid", as well as any of the mole stories or "Down in the Woods at sleepy time". How fantastic for a child to have their own signed copy too!

Hi Vanessa... I would love to purchase 3 of your books for my little girl Xanthe for her 3rd birthday...
I would like
Down in the Woods at Sleepytime" (paperback)
Best Gift of All" (paperback)
Best Daddy in all the World" (paperback)
These titles are flexible so if they are taken then I will happily pick 3 others.
This also means that I need postal costs to Australia (Biloela QLD 4715) and your paypal account details.
Thanks so much Char x
