I have added Alice's blog to my blog roll-thank you. What a lucky lady you are to win this flower and I am also glad to hear I am not the only crazy person who would carefully fold and save the map!

Hi Vanessa
I hope Hugo is feeling better today!
Lovely brooch and a great idea to wrap it in a map - I'm off to check out Alice's blog now

Even though, I have two active young boys to take care of, is my "healthy" hubby the one that always complaints the most.Usually the three of them got sick in the same week.(?)
As you can imagine, to stay in bed or complaint, is a luxury that I can't afford.;o)
Alice's brooch is very pretty!I went to see her blog and I'll try some of her lovely tutorials for sure! Thanks Vanessa.

Alice @ Crochet with Raymond

Oh Vanessa! *bless!*
What a lovely post, it nearly bought tears to my eyes... I must be feeling a wee bit hormonal!
Thank you for the sweet things you said and your Raymond appreciation...
I checked my stats before and ka-blam... I've had over 100 hits from you in the last 10 hours, amazing!
Have a lovely week, and the badge looks lovely on you!

It's a lovely rosette, and I'm going to go check her blog. You startled me when you wrote that you had to tend to Hugo before he died. Then I laughed! A lot. Enjoy taking care of your husband!

Looovely brooch!
My other half suffers from man flu too....

Hello! I have been reading your lovely blog for several months now (I just adore your lovely Ellie & Douglas and amazing knitting), but just lurking in the background - a wee bit chicken when it comes to comments. However today I felt compelled to comment as I too have admired the lovely Raymond and of course Alice's fabby blog for sometime now. Lucky you to win that beautiful brooch. Alice has quite a talent with her little crochet hook and gosh Raymond is quite possibly the most handsome cat ever.
Have a lovely day,
Louise

I Spy Alice's brooch :-)
Lucky you to win it!
I have to say I was startled to read that you had to tend to Hugo before he died....I was a little slow today, school sports day...what do you expect?
I must confess I too am in love with Raymond, such a gorgeous cat and full of character, you can see he loves being a star attraction on Alice's Blog :-)

Hello Vanessa. The photos of you out of doors are wonderful ... lots of wonderful breezes are apparent.

Hoping that Hugo recovers quickly. Hoping that you don't have many of those naughty cigarettes!

The multicolored crocheted brooch is a winner, and the map wrap was a terrific touch.

Best wishes. xo

Love the brooch, and the wrapping paper! Poor Hugo, I've just been suffering with a very similar thing and it's so nasty. I've only had Higgins to look after me, not much good on the meals and mediction front, but excellent at cuddles on the sofa! Hope Hugo is fully recovered now, Penny x

Such a sweet photo of the two of you - just soak up that precious sun! The rosette is adorable and suits your outfit so well ... must visit Alice's blog too ...
